Om Mani Padme Hum is a beautiful and very powerful mantra, meaning “From the Water Born the Lotus Flower”. This mantra belongs to Buddhism.

This meaning tells us a lot about our life, our experiences and what we want to be. The Mantra Om Mani Padme Hum reverts everything that is negative to positive (thoughts, actions, attitudes, states, among other blocks of the spirit).
To chant mantras is always a great solution to energise or elevate the vibration of our inner Self or the space in which we find ourselves, as well as all the people present in the same space – mantras help to balance, develop and align chakras or to remove some energy that was not invited. Some mantras also bring peace, serenity, relaxation, happiness and abundance. We can chant mantras during meditation to help relax and concentrate. “Om Mani Padme Hum” mantra we can use any time of the day when we want to calm and relax some less positive idea and bring all the pure energy within us.
What is “mantra”? – Mantras are repetitive sounds in the form of a song and/or speech, where divine, positive, light-filled syllables, words or phrases are being sung that help us to immerse ourselves in our higher selves and in various areas of life.
What does “mantra” mean? – means “to free”. Free your mind and thus you can raise your energy (the mantras are written and read in Sanskrit, the sacred language of the Hindus). You can also define your own mantra, with something you want to see reflective in your life.

Chant to open up your spirituality center>
Usually I don’t use this technique, but for some times I like to hear mantras and feel the energy of the sound. Sometimes I do some mantras when I’m on the street.
When you chant the mantras, their vibration circulates around you, cleaning and bringing good energies to both: those who are chanting them, but also to those who are in the surrounding area. It is important to repeat the mantra a few times, so that the power of the mantra is evenly distributed and you can enjoy all the energy that the mantra gives to us. With mantras it is possible to raise awareness, bring enlightenment to life, and even help to eliminate karma.
The word is very important: saying the mantra correctly is important. For it is also the vibrations of words that will raise the vibrations of light. It is also important to ask for help from the Angels and Archangels, the Divine and all the Beings of Light so that they can come to our aid.
The mantra Om Mani Padme Hum is perhaps the most well-known and also the most used mantra in Tibet by Tibetan Buddhists. The mantra Om Mani Padme Hum is the mantra of compassion and is associated with the Bodhisattva or Bodhisattva of Compassion and must be repeated between 8 and 108 times.
- Om removes all the negative energies that are within us or around us and the Ego.
- Mani, means jewel of love, helps the fulfilment of all our dreams.
- Padme, means lotus, wisdom.
- Hum, keep us invisible to the negativity.
Practicing mantras regularly or even daily helps us connecting with the Universe and all the good and positive energies that we can receive from it. It is important to chant the mantras knowing their meaning and doing the correct intonation to help interiorize their functions.
It is equally important to repeat mantras 8 or 108 times for the effect to be stronger and raise the inner and outer vibration. It is advisable to vocalize the mantras out loud, but if it is not possible, we can whisper them or just mentalize them. We can use a japamala. The japamala is a string with 108 pieces (which can be stones, seeds or other materials). They help to chant mantras during the meditation as they help to count each intonation of the mantra.
